Ronald J. Klammer, President & Managing Director
He founded its predecessor firm, a New York partnership, where he led its technology practice. He has over 35 years of experience in all aspects of the electronics industry. Previously, Mr. Klammer was a corporate vice president of Gulton Industries, Inc., a diversified NYSE electronics company, where he was responsible for initiating and closing the acquisition and divestiture of six businesses and returning four divisions to profitable growth. Prior to this, Mr. Klammer was vice president of Cross River Products, Inc., a venture-capital-backed manufacturer of consumer products. Earlier, he held various management and technical positions with General Electric’s Missile and Space Division with a specialty in communication, control and computer systems.
Mr. Klammer holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Villanova University, a Master of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration degree with distinction from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Business Administration.

Michael Cohen, Managing Director
He also serves as Managing Director of Impact Capital Group. Mr. Cohen brings a unique insight from his background with financial and strategic buyers and applies them for the benefit of private company buyers and sellers. As an investment banker, he has advised such companies as Johnson & Johnson, Hewlett Packard, and General Electric on strategic M&A and has closed over 40 corporate equity transactions for buyers and sellers. Before investment banking, while at Honeywell International, he doubled the aerospace and defense revenue growth rate by leading strategic M&A. As an equity capital investor, he generated over 22% internal rate of returns for Norwest Equity Partners and 3i Capital. On the operations side, Mr. Cohen led engineering development at the General Electric Company’s Aerospace Group and at Kulicke & Soffa, a leading supplier of capital equipment for the semiconductor industry.
Michael earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Shawn Thompson, Managing Director
He also serves as Managing Director of Diamond Capital Advisors. Mr. Thompson has 25 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience providing merger and acquisition, valuation, financial advisory, and restructuring services for diverse companies, typically those with enterprise values up to $200 million. He has executed transactions in a wide range of industries including consumer products, technology, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, retail, and businesses services. Shawn’s investment banking experience started with Barrington Associates where he served as a Vice President, using his credit and financial analysis skills as a trusted advisor to middle market business owners, providing primarily sell-side M&A and valuation services.
Mr. Thompson graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics.
Tom Kastner, Managing Director
He also serves as Managing Director of GP Ventures and specializes in technology companies. Tom has 20+ years corporate development and technology investment banking experience. Previously he directed the US and European investment program for Hakuto, a Japanese technology distributor. Tom is a co-founder of an US distributor of electronic components and fluent in Japanese.
Mr. Kastner has an MBA from Yale University and a BA from the University of California at Berkeley.
Steve Klammer, Managing Director
Steve is a Managing Director of OEM Capital. Previously he was President and CEO of Highbar Capital Management and a senior portfolio manager for Whitebox Advisors and Walleye Trading.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude with a major in Economics from Northeastern University and a Master of Business Administration degree Highest Honors from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. His area of specialty is information Technology.
Lori L. Murphree, Managing Director
She also serves as Managing Director of Diamond Capital Advisors. Ms. Murphree has 20 years of experience in investment banking, private equity and other strategic and financial roles. She has managed a wide range of both domestic and international transactions including buy-side and sell-side M&A, management buyouts, leveraged buyouts, private capital raises and debt financing. Ms. Murphree has worked with such companies as Sapient, WPP, IBM, CACI, and GXS, and has significant expertise in the marketing services, digital media and technology sectors. Her prior experience includes both commercial lending and investment banking at Silicon Valley Bank (in both Palo Alto and London), Grant Thornton UK, Results International, and McCracken Advisory Partners. Ms. Murphree headed growth efforts within the digital media practice at both Results and McCracken and led investment transactions at the private equity fund, Bacchus Capital Management.
Ms. Murphree holds a Masters of Business Administration degree with a major in International Management from Thunderbird Graduate School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University.

Mark R. Ross, Managing Director
He also serves as Managing Director of Diamond Capital Advisors. Mr. Ross has over 30 years of hands-on experience leading companies to growth, both as an entrepreneur and banker. Previously, he was a Managing Director of Mosaic Capital. He served as Vice-Chairman of Autobytel, Inc., a Nasdaq listed company, and was the founding investor and senior board member of AutoWeb. also a Nasdaq listed company, and led its merger with Autobytel. Earlier, Mr. Ross founded Cogito Capital Partners, a corporate advisory firm working with rapidly growing, emerging technology companies. Previously, he was Managing Director of Chatsworth Securities where he was the senior banker and advisor on over 25 transactions, with a combined value of over $500 million. Earlier, he was founder and chairman of On Word Information, a pioneering database/imaging company, which he sold to Motorola.
Mr. Ross received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Lehigh University.

Chris Whitcomb, Managing Director
Chris is a Managing Director at OEM Capital. Chris has spent over 30 years on Wall Street in various capacities. Most recently, Chris worked at Oppenheimer in their Alternative Capital Markets Group. There he focused on deal origination and execution. His primary focus was on equity linked financings for small and micro-cap technology companies. Earlier in his career, Chris worked at Dain Bosworth, Piper Jaffray, William Blair and ThinkEquity Partners.
Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree focused in Economics from Lawrence University.
Wayne Platt, Managing Director
He also serves as Managing Director of Diamond Capital Advisors. Mr. Platt has over 30 years of experience in providing high level financial and valuation advisory services. He spent several years with Cappello Global and over 25 years with Houlihan Lokey, where he served on Houlihan’s National Fairness Opinion Review Committee, National Solvency Opinion Review Committee, the Technical Standards Committee. His clients have been Fortune 500 companies, middle-market companies and state and public institutions. His expertise extends to fairness opinions, solvency opinions, business and securities valuations, mergers & acquisitions, financings, and shareholder liquidity analyses. He has served as a financial advisor in over 2,000 situations, across a wide range of industries, counseling Boards of Directors, senior management and Special Committees to Boards of Directors. Assignments have included strategic acquisitions, LBO’s, MBO’s, debt for equity swaps, and general corporate advisory services.
Mr. Platt has an MBA from The Wharton School, and holds the designation of Chartered Accountant (SA). He has an undergraduate degree in finance (with Honors) from the University of Cape Town.
