Ronald J. Klammer, President & Managing Director

He founded its predecessor firm, a New York partnership, where he led its technology practice. He has over 35 years of experience in all aspects of the electronics industry. Previously, Mr. Klammer was a corporate vice president of Gulton Industries, Inc., a diversified NYSE electronics company, where he was responsible for initiating and closing the acquisition and divestiture of six businesses and returning four divisions to profitable growth. Prior to this, Mr. Klammer was vice president of Cross River Products, Inc., a venture-capital-backed manufacturer of consumer products. Earlier, he held various management and technical positions with General Electric’s Missile and Space Division with a specialty in communication, control and computer systems. Ron holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Villanova University, a Master of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration degree with distinction from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Business Administration.

J. Stephen Klammer, Managing Director

Steve brings a unique insight to M&A from his extensive background in the hedge fund industry. He has over 25 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience. Steve is responsible for business development and project management for clients seeking to finance, sell and acquire businesses. Earlier, he founded Highbar Capital Management LLC, a hedge fund focused on statistical arbitrage. Previously, he was a partner at Whitebox Advisors LLC, a hedge fund that managed and advised private investment funds and separately managed accounts that reached $6 billion in assets. He also spent several years with Deephaven Capital Management, now a subsidiary of the Knight Capital Group, that at its peak managed $4 billion in assets. Thomas G. Kastner, Managing Director

He also serves as Managing Director of GP Ventures and specializes in technology companies in the electronics manufacturing sector. Tom has over twenty years corporate development and technology investment banking experience. Previously, Tom directed the US and European investment program for Hakuto, a Japanese technology distributor. Tom is a co-founder of an US distributor of electronic components and fluent in Japanese. Michael Cohen, Managing Director

He also serves as Managing Director of Impact Capital Group. Michael brings a unique insight from his background with financial and strategic buyers and applies them for the benefit of private company buyers and sellers. As an investment banker, he has advised such companies as Johnson & Johnson, Hewlett Packard, and General Electric on strategic M&A and has closed over 40 corporate equity transactions for buyers and sellers. Before investment banking, while at Honeywell International, he doubled the aerospace and defense revenue growth rate by leading strategic M&A. As an equity capital investor, he generated over 22% internal rate of returns for Norwest Equity Partners and 3i Capital. On the operations side, Michael led engineering development at the General Electric Company’s Aerospace Group and at Kulicke & Soffa, a leading supplier of capital equipment for the semiconductor industry. Shawn Thompson, Managing Director

He also serves as Managing Director of Diamond Capital Advisors. Shawn has over 25 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience providing merger and acquisition, valuation, financial advisory, and restructuring services for diverse companies, typically those with enterprise values up to $200 million. He has executed transactions in a wide range of industries including consumer products, technology, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, retail, and businesses services. Shawn’s investment banking experience started with Barrington Associates where he served as a Vice President, using his credit and financial analysis skills as a trusted advisor to middle market business owners, providing primarily sell-side M&A and valuation services. Mark Ross, Managing Director

He also serves as Managing Director of Diamond Capital Advisors. Mark has over 30 years of hands-on experience leading companies to growth, both as an entrepreneur and banker. Previously, he was a Managing Director of Mosaic Capital. He served as Vice-Chairman of Autobytel, Inc., a Nasdaq listed company, and was the founding investor and senior board member of AutoWeb. also a Nasdaq listed company, and led its merger with Autobytel. Earlier, Mark founded Cogito Capital Partners, a corporate advisory firm working with rapidly growing, emerging technology companies. Previously, he was Managing Director of Chatsworth Securities where he was the senior banker and advisor on over 25 transactions, with a combined value of over $500 million. Earlier, he was founder and chairman of On Word Information, a pioneering database/imaging company, which he sold to Motorola. Mr. Ross earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Lehigh University.
