Carbonite, Inc. entered into a stock purchase agreement to acquire Double-Take Software, Inc.

Double-Take Software, Inc. develops, sells, and supports software that allows IT organizations to move, manage, protect, and recover workloads across various physical and virtual server environments. The company primarily offers Double-Take Availability software that provides continuous protection of data to reduce or eliminate data loss, as well as the ability to recover the application and server needed to utilize that data through automatic or manually initiated failover.
